Not gonna lie. The Tunnel Krakatoas surprised me a bit. I normally don't associate Tunnel wheels as slide wheels. So I was curious when I saw them for sale at Socal Skateshop. Bought a set of the 78a's and so far they are a really good slide wheel. I've ridden Remember Hoots, Remember Savannah Slamma, Metro Motion, Abec 11 Flashacks, and some others. They are kind of sugary like the Hoots but not as slidey. They need a little more kick to slide, but once sliding they seem to be quite controllable. Not icey at all. Wasn't expecting them to feel as good as they do.
But yea, a good (fun) slide wheel that's totally under the radar. Underrated and overlooked. No regrets with my purchase.
